Sports USA was in Foxboro, MA week 9 of this season to call the matchup between the two Super Bowl contenders. As the Giants and Patriots get ready for a rematch of Super Bowl XLII, relive their first meeting this year. The defenses controlled the 1st half with the game remaining scoreless at halftime, but the offenses got going late leading to 31 4th quarter points between the two teams. Tom Brady led the Pats on a touchdown drive to take the lead with under 2 minutes left, but Eli Manning was able to rally the Giants back winning the game on a touchdown pass to tight end Jake Ballard. Rich Cellini and John Robinson called the game from Paul Brown Stadium as the Ravens and Bengals had playoff positions and seeds at stake. Ray Rice broke off 2 big runs and finished with 171 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Ravens won 24-16. The win secured a first round bye for Baltimore and the Bengals snuck into the playoffs with the 6th seed thanks to other losses around the league.  Read More...

Rich Cellini and Charles Arbuckle were in Shreveport for the Independence Bowl featuring the Missouri Tigers and the North Carolina Tar Heels. North Carolina scored 1st but James Franklin scored 2 touchdowns on the ground and had another one through the air to help lead the Tigers to a 41-24 victory over UNC.   Read More...

Rich Cellini and Gary Barnett were in Las Vegas where Boise St. met with Arizona St. in the MAACO Las Vegas Bowl. Boise finished off an impressive season at 12-1 winning 56-24 in Kellen Moore's final game as a Bronco. The star of the game was Doug Martin who finished with over 300 all-purpose yards including a 100-yd kick return for a touchdown to start the game.  Read More...
