“Conversations with Joe Morgan” was a weekly radio show hosted by the Hall Of Famer and Emmy Award winning analyst. The “Classic Conversations” posted here are specially selected conversations between Joe and his guests over the years. In 1965 Joe Morgan was named the NL Rookie of the Year for the Houston Astros. He remained with the Astros through 1971, being named to the All Star team twice. He was traded to the Cincinnati Reds in 1972 and helped to lead the “Big Red Machine” to consecutive World Series titles in 1975 and 1976. Morgan was named the National League’s Most Valuable Player in each of those years.
